Jurnal ELTIKOM: Jurnal Teknik Elektro, Teknologi Informasi dan Komputer (ELTIKOM) recognizes the importance of financial sustainability, accountability, and transparency in journal operations. This Revenue Sources Policy outlines the funding sources and revenue mechanisms that support the editorial, peer review, and publication processes of ELTIKOM.
This policy aims to ensure that all financial resources are managed responsibly and that editorial independence and publication integrity are fully maintained.
Revenue Sources Policy
1. Institutional Support
ELTIKOM receives institutional support from P3M Politeknik Negeri Banjarmasin to assist with journal management and operational activities. This support may be used to cover expenses related to:
-
Editorial and peer review management
-
Journal website hosting and maintenance
-
DOI registration and metadata management
-
Indexing and digital preservation services
-
Editorial quality control and administration
All institutional funding is managed in accordance with the financial regulations and governance policies of Politeknik Negeri Banjarmasin.
2. Article Processing Charges (APCs)
To support sustainable open-access publishing, ELTIKOM applies a selective Article Processing Charge (APC) policy, as described below:
-
Manuscripts with at least one author affiliated with an institution in Indonesia are subject to an Article Processing Charge (APC).
-
Manuscripts for which all authors are affiliated with institutions outside Indonesia are eligible for a full APC waiver and are published free of charge.
APCs are charged only after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication. Payment of APCs has no influence on editorial decisions, which are based solely on scholarly merit, relevance, and ethical compliance.
3. Compliance and Accountability
All stakeholders involved in ELTIKOM—including editors, authors, reviewers, and journal managers—are expected to comply with this Revenue Sources Policy.
ELTIKOM ensures that:
-
Financial resources are used responsibly and solely for journal-related activities.
-
Editorial decisions remain independent from financial considerations.
-
Revenue management aligns with ethical publishing standards and institutional regulations.
