Archiving
1. Digital Archiving
Jurnal ELTIKOM: Jurnal Teknik Elektro, Teknologi Informasi dan Komputer (ELTIKOM) utilizes trusted digital archiving systems and repositories to preserve and provide long-term access to its published articles.
All articles published in ELTIKOM are archived through recognized digital preservation services that support permanent availability and integrity of scholarly content. These systems are designed to safeguard journal content against data loss, technological obsolescence, and other risks.
The digital archiving systems utilized by ELTIKOM include:
- PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)
- Internet Archive
2. Metadata Preservation
ELTIKOM ensures that each published article is accompanied by complete and accurate metadata to support identification, citation, indexing, and retrieval in archival and indexing systems.
Metadata are maintained in accordance with internationally recognized standards and include, but are not limited to:
- Article title
- Author names and affiliations
- Abstract and keywords
- Publication date, volume, issue, and DOI
This practice ensures consistent and reliable long-term discoverability of ELTIKOM articles.
3. Rights and Permissions
- Authors retain full copyright and intellectual property rights over their published articles.
- Authors grant ELTIKOM a non-exclusive right to archive, preserve, and make their articles available through digital archiving systems and repositories.
- Archiving activities are conducted in accordance with ELTIKOM’s Copyright and Open Access Policies, including the applicable Creative Commons license.
4. Access to Archived Articles
Archived articles are made freely accessible to readers worldwide, ensuring continuous availability of ELTIKOM content.
Access to archived materials is subject to the technical terms and conditions of the respective archiving repositories but does not impose restrictions beyond those defined by the article’s license.
5. Compliance and Enforcement
All stakeholders of ELTIKOM, including authors, editors, reviewers, and readers, are expected to comply with this Archiving Policy.
ELTIKOM remains committed to maintaining ethical standards in digital preservation and follows COPE guidance in handling any issues related to access, integrity, or preservation of archived content.
