Jurnal ELTIKOM: Jurnal Teknik Elektro, Teknologi Informasi dan Komputer is committed to upholding high ethical standards in scholarly publishing and adheres to the principles and Core Practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). This Direct Marketing Policy defines the ethical guidelines governing all direct marketing and communication activities conducted by ELTIKOM, ensuring transparency, relevance, respect for privacy, and integrity in all interactions with authors, reviewers, editors, and readers.

Policy

1. Consent and Privacy

ELTIKOM respects the privacy and personal data of all individuals involved in the journal’s activities. Direct marketing communications are conducted in compliance with applicable data protection and privacy regulations. Recipients of marketing-related communications are provided with the option to opt out or unsubscribe from future messages at any time.

2. Transparency and Accuracy

All direct marketing communications from ELTIKOM clearly identify the journal as the sender. Information provided in such communications is accurate, truthful, and based on up-to-date journal policies and indexing status. ELTIKOM does not use misleading, deceptive, or exaggerated claims in any form of marketing communication.

3. Targeted and Relevant Communication

ELTIKOM ensures that direct marketing communications are relevant and appropriate to the recipient.
Messages are targeted based on the recipient’s role and prior interaction with the journal (e.g., author, reviewer, editor, or reader) and are limited to information related to journal activities, such as calls for papers, publication announcements, or editorial updates.

4. Frequency and Timing

ELTIKOM manages the frequency and timing of direct marketing communications to avoid excessive or intrusive messaging.
Communications are sent at reasonable intervals and are intended to inform rather than pressure or harass recipients.

5. Compliance with Ethical Standards and Regulations

ELTIKOM’s marketing activities are aligned with the principles and recommendations of COPE and recognized best practices in scholarly publishing.

6. Review and Monitoring

Direct marketing activities conducted by ELTIKOM are periodically reviewed to ensure ongoing compliance with this policy.
Any concerns, complaints, or reports regarding direct marketing practices may be submitted to the ELTIKOM editorial office and will be handled appropriately.
